Microsoft dynamics AX

Microsoft Dynamics AX is an on-premise and cloud ERP system - rebranded in 2018 to Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations - of which the core modules are centered around ledger management, bank management, CRM, inventory management, planning and production. It is used mainly by back office departments, production, sales and finance teams.

HubSpot is a cloud-based software with products to manage marketing campaigns, service activities such as complaint tickets, keep track of customers and prospects, and the pipeline. Therefore, it’s mainly used by front-office teams such as Sales, Marketing and Customer Service.

Integration Details

Why integrate them

If your organization is working with both Microsoft AX and HubSpot, you should consider an integration. This allows for synchronizing various types of data between both systems. For example, once a prospect is converted to a customer by the sales team in HubSpot, they’re automatically created in MS AX, for Finance to further follow-up. Or, when a purchase order is created in AX, this data is sent to HubSpot.

Some benefits of such as integration are:

  • Data quality is ensured
  • Progressing towards a more complete customer view
  • Data from different sources helps Marketing and Sales to improve segmentation and targeting
  • More efficiency and alignment between teams
our methodology

We always follow our best practices when building integrations, of course customized to our clients’ needs. This ensures that we avoid polluting data in any of the integrated systems, that the processes make sense from the user perspective, and that the integration is tested in detail on different levels.
